Look after your mental health!

So today I took the northern rail train from Leeds to Carlisle
for a job interview at House of Fraser back home at university. Side note, I
think it went well, but fingers crossed! However that's not the point of this
post...
This two and a half hour journey is not one I dislike. I've
recently found the beauty and sacredness in alone time. Like, properly alone,
not just sat in your bedroom. As a person full of personal
conflicts, the scenic views, my headphones and a pen to write is everything I
love and cherish. It gives me an opportunity to work out stuff, it gives me a
chance to write blog posts such as these, and it also allows me to be rid of
responsibilities for a short amount of time. It's peaceful. It's therapeutic.
I guess what I'm trying to say in this post is that you should
always put yourself first. Be caring, be kind, be loving. But make sure you
spend some time working out yourself or else you'll drive yourself insane and
that's what I've been doing for a month or two now, until today.
